5. Data processing when visiting our website www.biochalet-ebenbauer.at
Server log files and contact form (fault reports)
When you visit our website www.biochalet-ebenbauer.at, the provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits to us, in order to optimise the website with regard to system performance and user-friendliness, to create usage statistics and to be able to detect, prevent and investigate possible attacks on our website. This is the following information: your IP address, name and version of your web browser, the website (URL) you visited before accessing this website, and the date and time of the page request on our website. Server log files are stored for 14 days. Longer storage only takes place if a legal obligation requires it and/or to investigate detected attacks on our website.
If you contact us via the contact form on the website or by email, the data you voluntarily provide (name, email address, telephone number, message text) will be stored by us in order to process your inquiry (e.g. fault report) and in case of any follow-up questions. The data entered into the contact form are therefore processed exclusively on the basis of your consent. You can revoke this consent at any time; an informal email to us is sufficient. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected. Data and information that you voluntarily disclose via the contact form on our website or by email are, unless you revoke your consent earlier, generally stored by us for 1 month. Longer storage only takes place if the processing of your inquiry requires it, a legal obligation requires it and/or to investigate detected attacks on our website.
Cookies
So-called cookies are used on this website. A cookie is a small file that can be stored on your computer when you visit a website. Cookies are generally used to offer users additional functions on a website. For example, they can be used to make navigating a website easier, to allow you to continue using a website where you left off and/or to save your preferences and settings when you visit the website again. Cookies cannot access, read or change any other data on your computer.
Most of the cookies on this website are so-called session cookies. They are deleted automatically when you leave our website. Persistent cookies, on the other hand, remain on your computer until you delete them manually in your browser. We use such persistent cookies to recognise you the next time you visit our website.
If you want to control cookies on your computer, you can choose your browser settings so that you receive a notification when a website wants to store cookies. You can also block or delete cookies that have already been stored on your computer. If you would like to know more about how to do this, please use the “Help” function in your browser.
Please note that blocking or deleting cookies may impair your online experience and prevent you from using this website to its full extent.
The website also contains a cookie that makes the page usable/functional by enabling basic functions such as page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. It is a small file stored on the access device (PC, mobile phone, etc.) that contains a characteristic string of characters (cookie ID) for identifying the access device. The cookie registers whether JavaScript is disabled in the browser and is deleted as soon as the browser is closed.
